Hey!
Jan 8, 2008
OK. trying this again. Looks like I might be able to send these pics.
Not much going on here. These are some pics when we first went out to the KMTC training center to practice shooting in December. These show me on a Soviet Tank and a part of the whole Tank graveyard. It's quite huge with thousands of T-54's, and other armored vehicles the soviets either lots or abandoned. We went back out there to practice shooting again and I got these other pics taken.
You can see me doing the run and shoot drills. That's not fun in an IBA. My legs are still sore and that was Friday.
We've had a bit of snow recently. But then yesterday it rained and most of it was destroyed. Oh well. Hopefully we will have some more. What we can see of the mountains look real nice though!
Other than that not much going on. No trips and things slowed down considerably over the holidays. We should be doing some more trips soon though. I hope to get up to Mezar-E-Sharif soon. But I also have to go down to Kandahar early next week for a conference. I won't get out though - just on base around the airfield. Actually they've taken pot shots at planes landing recently. Hope I don't get shot down. Nah. They can't hit much!
Talk to you guys later.
