Nothing is Quite So Thrilling…

Yeah, we finally got hit. I can now say that I've heard a shot fired in anger - after almost 3 months. We were sitting eating breakfast when I hear a loud noise - like a door slam - which is what I thought it was. Then I noticed that my ears were popped. I felt a pressure wave. Hmmm. Maybe that was something. We continued eating until the alarm sounded and then headed into our bunkers for about 30 minutes until the alarm cleared.
We got hit with suicide IED bomber. They tried to hit an outbound convoy but actually did little damage - they did kill 2 innocent bystanders, plus the two suicide bomber guys. Idiots.
I was at least a kilometer away and still felt the pressure wave. That tells you how good our armor is.
