Edward Adams joined the ABA Journal as editor and publisher in 2006. Since January 2010, he has also served as the ABA’s publisher, supervising departments responsible for books, periodicals, websites and continuing legal education events. Before joining the ABA, he had served as public information officer for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and was a reporter and editor for the New York Law Journal for more than a dozen years. Ed also worked for the New York Post, CNN, U.S. News & World Report, the National Law Journal, American Lawyer, the Cincinnati Enquirer and the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He received his bachelor of philosophy from Miami University of Ohio and his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
