"In this blog we document what we believe to be the facts, truth and wider relevance of the Marty Tankleff case." Marty Tankleff had just turned 17 when he was arrested for killing his parents, Seymour and Arlene Tankleff, in their home on Long Island, N.Y. Based on an unsigned confession, Marty was convicted and sentenced to 50 years to life, and has served 17 years in maximum security prisons before the Suffolk County, N.Y., district attorney dropped all charges against Marty Tankleff on Jan. 2, 2008.
