Provides a general audience with self-help resources, studies and reports available to the public and to professional providers of those services. SHLEP was chosen as “Best Law Blog In the Public Interest” in the 2006 Blawg Review Awards.

Author: Law librarians Teresa L. Conaway (University of La Verne) and Tammy Pettinato (University of California-Los Angeles) are now co-editors of shlep, and may soon assemble another group of self-help law advocates and practitioners who will be regular contributors to this weblog.
