"Serving women in law school and the legal profession, Ms. JD is an online community that provides a forum for dialogue and networking among women lawyers and aspiring lawyers." The blawg features issues relating to the numbers of women who opt out of the legal profession and the poor representation of women in the courts and legal community. The site also addresses the role of gender in legal careers.
Author: A group of female law students from the University of California-Berkeley, Cornell University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, New York University, Stanford University, the University of California-Los Angeles, the University of Texas, the University of Chicago, the University of Michigan, the University of Virginia, and Yale University came together and created Ms.JD in March 2006.
This blawg welcomes guest contributions. "To share your experiences as a law student or legal professional, just create an account or login to your existing account, then submit a blog post anytime. Articles are reviewed by Ms.JD editors before posting to the front page of the blog."
