Amen to that WRT! One of the best reasons for having a web-based practice is so you can tell your clients that the wonder of computers coupled with lack of client interruptions provides significant cost savings to them.
But personally, I think that face-to-face meetings are important between parties and attorneys with mediators in mediations and settlement issues related to divorce, probate, and civil issues. Many judges will insist on it. If the online attorney can't be there personally, s/he should arrange with the client to secure another attorney--at least for limited representation--for that purpose.
Isn't the point of a low cost virtual attorney to AVOID the handholding and just do the actual work. You'd go broke handholding virtual clients without billing it.
