Peeps in Law: Peeple's Court
Peeple's Court
by Lois Schwartz, Lecturer in Law, University of California Hastings College of the Law
The United States Supreme Court is, of course, the greatest protector of the rights of the peep-le. In this scene in the hallowed United States Supreme Court courtroom, the nine marshmallow justices are assembled in their black robes (Ruth Bader Ginsburg having added a little bling) to hear the argument of famed oralist Sebastian Cabot Rabbit regarding the exercise of substantive due process rights and reproductive autonomy by members of the Leporidae community who fear state intervention limiting multiple births. Power to the peep-le!
