Peeps in Law Part Deux: West Peep Beach/Court in Session
West Peep Beach/Court in Session
By Andy Wentzell
While those of us in Florida’s real court system work feverishly in the confines of our courthouses, Peeps are far less constrained ….
There are peeps on the beach and court is in session,
which isn’t normal in West Peep Beach in case you are “guessin”.
Here’s a judge, a state attorney, and a peep defense,
but peeps on the beach just do not make much sense.
It’s hot and it’s humid, the benefits we won’t reap,
holding court in the sun… we’re sweating off our peeps.
The judge moves quickly to hear each side
while peeps start to panic because of high tide.
The case has been heard which we cannot deny,
but if this does not end soon I’m afraid we’ll all fry.
The judge had decreed to grant the motion,
but the peep attorneys request—“hey please pass the lotion”.
The case is now over, the clerk has the file,
the gavel is sandy, but that’s Florida style.
