The last stop of the Rebels Tour ‘09 was in Washington, D.C., visiting with Rebel Cynthia Calvert, co-director of the Project for Attorney Retention.Her organization helps law firms understand why work/life balance is in their financial interest. We interviewed her in the D.C. offices of the ABA.

On Friday afternoon, we visited with a dozen students at the Washington bureau of Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism, of which Tour crew member Rachel Zahorsky is a proud graduate. We told them about the multimedia aspects of the Rebels project – which is the kind of journalism most of them will be practicing in the years ahead.
