Search Lawyer Wage Data for Your County

To help identify the best estimates of what lawyers earn across the county, we’ve culled the most current salary data reported to the Bureau of Labor Statistics on employed lawyers—such as associates, government attorneys and corporate counsel—along with additional government statistics on potential income influencers like population growth and the locations of Fortune 1000 company headquarters to give our readers a snapshot of their local legal landscape. Partners and solos are considered self-employed and not included.
The BLS reports and U.S. Census Bureau figures, collected by William Henderson of the Center for the Global Legal Profession at Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law, include figures through mid-2009.
