After browsing some 200 entries to this month’s legal-themed cartoon caption contest—wow, were there a lot of references to stinky feet, the Bobbits and one disturbing mention of 50 Shades of Grey—our staff has selected the following finalists. Please use the poll to vote for your favorite.
“They told me I was no longer needed.”—submitted by Steven Heinen
“I need your briefs now … and I believe those socks are dirty, too.”—submitted by Thomas J. Koch, of Chicago
“Whatever made you think ‘being married to the Law’ was just a figure of speech?”—submitted by Leslie J. Wilsher of New York City
How to vote: Using our poll, select the caption you think best fits the scene depicted in the cartoon.
Voting period: Votes for the February “Grim Reaper” contest must be cast by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, March 23.
What’s the prize?: Bragging rights. Plus, the winning caption and credit to the caption writer will appear in an upcoming issue of the ABA Journal.
