An Ohio common pleas judge jailed over the weekend after a dispute that put his wife in the hospital has now posted bond.
Judge Lance Mason was released Wednesday after putting up 10 percent of his $65,000 bail, the Northeast Ohio Media Group reports in an article published by the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
An exam by a forensic psychologist required as a condition of his bond in the Shaker Heights Municipal Court case determined that he is at “low risk” of harming himself or others, but recommended weekly counseling sessions.
Mason sits in Cuyahoga County. The article doesn’t say whether or when he is expected to resume his judicial duties.
