Pitch us your idea for a legal TV show

Aug 13, 2014, 08:00 pm CDT

This week, the first 10-second teaser trailer was released for the much-anticipated comedy-drama Better Call Saul, a spinoff of the hit drama Breaking Bad. The TV show stars Bob Odenkirk as “criminal lawyer” Saul Goodman, and is set six years before the events of Breaking Bad.

Two other legal shows have more imminent premieres: Bad Judge, about a Los Angeles County Circuit Court judge with a wild lifestyle; and How to Get Away with Murder, a drama about a criminal law professor and her students.

Are you excited about these shows—or do you have better ideas of your own? The ABA Journal doesn’t have the power to greenlight anything, but this week, we want you to pitch us your idea for a legal TV show. Pitches for both scripted and reality TV shows will be accepted. Feel free to elaborate on your casting choices as well. And if you like, flip through our Top 25 TV Shows gallery for inspiration.
