For some reason, judges don't like it when you steal from broke people.

Especially when you promised through an election to protect those broke people.

One crook among many in the Motor City

Too bad the worthless piece of sub-human scum couldn't get 98 years but 28 is better than nothing.

Read the government's sentencing report. KK's ability to lie, and continue lying outright, was extraordinary. I've run into it a couple times with clients. True sociopaths: all the world exists to serve their interests, and anything they have to do to accomplish that is OK.

At one point, he argued that he was lying in taking a guilty plea to an earlier offense.

No way a tub of lard like Kwame will make it to age 71 in the pokey, so he will never again be a free man in this life. Now that it is fairly obvious, maybe some of his old cronies will finally scrape up the gumption to drop a dime over the mysteriously bullet-riddled hooker.

I enjoy a good fat joke just like any bloke.

But really I don't think his weight will have anything to do with making it in the pokey. If anything this might be a saving grace for him. He'll probably lose a great deal of weight and get really buffed and healthy over the next 28 years.

@5 thanks for suggesting reading the sentencing report. Wish these stories would do the work of providing links for us but here it is :

#6: If he does make it he will be received with open arms to a city of people wanting and waiting to vote for him as mayor again.

Assuming anything then remains there beyond the corpses dumped among the garbage, and the rats that are feeding on it.
