The union was betting that Obama would intercede and give Hostess to them, in the same way that he gave General Motors to the UAW.  So far, Obama hasn’t declared Hostess a critical strategic industry player needing Federal intrusion to redirect ownership and assets to the union.  In their failure to seize Hostess’ assets for themselves using government interference, these union workers just eliminated their own jobs.  Their overwhelming greed and lust for power did themselves in, and they will now have to face their hungry families with that cold, hard truth.
