Well I am glad that they are going to get their benefits. It's really bad business to have someone out there fighting and risking their lives for this country, only to then turnaround and stab them in the back by denying them what they are rightfully entitled to.

"Survivor benefits" usually connotes that the person who fought and risked his or her life is dead, and the issue is then whether someone else gets paid for that.
