Makes sense. Who’d want to claim HIM as his peer?

There are quite a few people just like him in Indiana. Too bad he wasn’t tossed back into the jury pool for service on a case with a white defendant. It would have been worth it to toss his butt into jail for contempt if he showed up in robes, if only to send a message to the rest of the potential jurors that the Court won’t be held hostage by people who don’t want to serve.

I wonder if “Railton Loy” is the pseudonym that Democrat Senator Robert Byrd uses.

I agree: Either toss his butt into jail for contempt if he showed up in robes or make him sit in the hallway all week long. Judges in my state will usually have the troublemaker cool his heels in jail or observe the whole week of court.

Now I know what to tell people who ask me “how do I get out of serving jury duty.”
I usually just tell them that I never want to hear them complain about any jury verdicts, but now I’ll just tell them that they could just become an Imperial Wizard of the KKK.

Unless there is a serious reason to not serve on a jury, such service is an honor.
