Sometimes one has to wonder if there's any common sense left in the World.

Given our zero-tolerance policies and three-strikes laws, the kid will probably have to register as a sex offender the rest of his life.

Yep, we are proud of our law enforcement officers here in Oklahoma.

By Redneck Lawyer on 2012 11 09, 10:14 pm CST

Given what we read in daily news stories from around the country, it's amazing that the kid wasn't tazered.

In response to TMJ: No.. Sadly common sense is being bred out of the species..

If he would have handed me that ticket, I think I would have walked over and started pissing all over his car - including his door handle. At least then the ticket would of had value! Man, are all police officers in Oklahoma really that stupid?

Another example of the police state in AMERIKA--it's getting worse by the day.

Piedmont OK has too many police officers and not enough crime.

This is why law enforcement perceives that the public loses respect. I know of a disabled veteran -- with a disabled license plate -- who was ticketed for parking in a handicapped parking space. The police academies should teach common sense aong with everything else.

Good news. As of Nov 1, this toddler would no longer have had to register as as sex offender in OK. My question is: When did this family's yard become a "public place"?

By Dr Phun on 2012 11 12, 6:39 pm CST

I'm glad that despite the election results there are still public officials out there who deem enforcement of their own perception of morality on others to be a high calling.

Surprised at the pro-public urination lobby represented here. The kid was totally out of line. They should have thrown the book at him. Toddlers try to get away with way too much these days.

@2 - Don't forget "no candy" at Halloween.

If the Oklahoma legislature wanted to enact a toddler's exemption for this law they would have done so.
