I’ve seen the transparency reports from Google, but I think that’s just Google being weird. Maybe a few companies are following suit, but certainly it’s more of the norm for companies to be quite tight-lipped about such things.
Calling on Skype for transparency is within the activists’ prerogative, but without any real clout, I don’t see them getting much movement. If Microsoft was inclined to disclose more than necessary, I’m guessing they would have done so already.
