Hopefully this guy will be put away for a looonnngg time; luckily, he was stopped before he killed the motorist. Sounds like this long-time criminal is about to become a long-time inmate.

Were the bikers just a pack of criminals looking for a fight, a bounty to claim? Did Lien instigate or in any way provoke the situation as some bikers have claimed? Would we be feeling any less sympathy for Lien had the bikers simply not chased him and called the cops instead?

And would we then instead be saying how terrible and irresponsible it was for Lien to paralyze a man?

And of course why did it have to take a bystander to stop the fracas in the first place…???

"...the gun charge was reportedly dropped because the handgun was not the target of the warrant."

Say what???

My thought as well, NoleLaw. Seems more likely that the gun charge was dropped as part of the plea deal.

Had the bikers not "chased him" for what? Why were they "chasing" him? Because they terrorized him and then were unhappy at his reaction to being terrorized (running over the Darwinist moron who parked his bike on the freeway)? What exactly is the law governing how you're supposed to act while being terrorized?

Lien was driving his vehicle and minding his own business when these thugs set upon him. He did nothing to provoke them. They had no basis on which to call the police. As the incident proves, it's Lien who needed the police, not them.

Why is someone not in jail for life with 21 previous arrests? are you kidding me?
