Real change is here—whether you’re seeing it in your own practice area or not

Just today, I got eighty-five cents back at the video store, after I handed the clerk a fiver for the DVDs I was renting.  It was three quarters and a dime, so there were no pennies to add to the Sandwich for Liz Jar.

A few weeks ago, one off the secretaries asked me to get her a candy bar while I was getting snacks from a vending machine.  I put in a dollar and got the candy bar and two dimes back.  Then when I got back up to the office, I gave her the candy bar and the two dimes and she gave me a dollar.  So, we not only saw real change, but also a veritable pair-o’-dimes shift that day.
