Victims of recent hurricanes in Florida who can’t afford to hire lawyers can call a toll-free hotline for legal help.

Callers can dial (866) 550-2929 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. EDT to be matched with volunteer Florida lawyers, the American Bar Association says in a press release. The lawyers can provide help securing government assistance, filing medical and insurance claims, replacing wills and other legal documents destroyed in the hurricane, and dealing with contractors.

The hotline is a partnership between The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, the ABA Young Lawyers Division and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Since 1973, the Young Lawyers Division has been authorized by the federal government to coordinate legal services to low-income victims of disasters, the ABA Journal reported in a July story.
