Another DOJ Official Leaves

The revolving door at the U.S. Justice Department continues to spin. The latest person to leave is Wan J. Kim, the head of the civil rights division.
DOJ officials said the departure is not related to the controversy over political influence within the department, the New York Times (reg. req.) reports. Nearly a dozen senior officials have left the department, including the deputy attorney general and associate attorney general.
Bradley Schlozman, the official who led the civil rights division as interim director before Kim, resigned from the department last week, the Washington Post reports. Schlozman has said in Senate testimony that he bragged about recruiting Republicans for career positions.
