Updated: Things are looking up for summer associates at a handful of large law firms.

On Tuesday, Above the Law listed five law firms that had made 100 percent offer rates. “We feel like we’re taking magic BigLaw pills today and having hallucinatory flashbacks to 2006,” the blog says. ATL added to its list on Thursday.

ATL says these firms had 100 percent offer rates:

• Ropes & Gray, extending offers to all 82 of its summer associates in all of its offices.

• Latham & Watkins, extending offers to all summer associates in all of its offices.

• Pepper Hamilton, extending offers to all 11 summer associates in its Philadelphia office. (Three were 1Ls who were offered summer associate jobs for the next year.)

• Proskauer Rose, extending offers to all 20 summers in its New York City office.

• Shearman & Sterling, extending offers to all of its 27 eligible summer associates.

• Dewey & LeBoeuf, extending offers to all of its New York City and Washington, D.C., summers.

• Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, extending offers to all 16 of its New York City summer associates and both of its Los Angeles summer associates.

• Quinn Emanuel, extending offers to all of its Los Angeles summer associates. Quinn Emanuel spokeswoman Selene Dogan told the ABA Journal that they all “accepted on the spot (although several will apply for judicial clerkships).” It also made offers to all summers in its San Francisco, Silicon Valley and New York City offices.

• Covington & Burling, extending offers to all of its New York City summer associates.

• O’Melveny & Myers, extending offers to all nine of its summer associates in New York City.

• Jackson Walker to all of its summer associates in three Texas offices: Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth.

Representatives for Shearman & Sterling, Ropes & Gray, Dewey & LeBoeuf, Stroock & Stroock & Lavan and Jackson Walker also confirmed to the ABA Journal the Above the Law report is correct. O’Melveny & Myers declined to comment. The other law firms did not immediately respond to our e-mails seeking confirmation.
