As the legal market for lateral hires continues to revive, the revolving door moves in both directions at Winston & Strawn.

At the same time that the Chicago-based firm reportedly is seeking to bring in some 150 or more partners from Howrey, it is losing two to Kaye Scholer.

Vincent Sama will chair the securities and derivative litigation practice at his new firm and co-chair its complex commercial litigation group, reports the Lawyer.

Catherine Schumacher also is making the move from Winston to Kaye Scholer as a litigation partner.

Both will practice in the New York office.

“Their handling of high-stakes, complicated litigation for companies and directors will enable us to significantly expand the scope of this practice in New York,” says co-managing partner Barry Willner in a Kaye Scholer press release.
