Another 28 lawyers from dissolving WolfBlock are joining Cozen O'Connor.
The new hires are moving from the New York satellite of the Philadelphia-based law firm to its Cozen counterpart, bringing the total attorney roster at the New York office of their new firm to almost 100, a spokeswoman reported today in an e-mail to the ABA Journal.
Another 30 WolfBlock lawyers made the move to Cozen earlier, as discussed in a previous ABAJournal.com post, and the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Cozen has hired 65 WolfBlock lawyers during the past two weeks.
"It's a great move for us because we got some great lawyers," Cozen president and CEO Thomas Decker tells the newspaper. "There were tons of firms competing for these people."
Also today, Duane Morris announced that it is bringing in 24 lawyers from WolfBlock, as discussed in another ABAJournal.com post.
