Partner Cary Ichter and three other Adorno & Yoss attorneys have left to form their own Atlanta litigation boutique, which will be known as Ichter Thomas.
After practicing at three big firms in a lttle more than six years, Ichter says he decided that he was just more comfortable running his own show. Plus, he wanted more control over his professional destiny, especially given the turbulent legal economy, he tells the Daily Report in an article reprinted in New York Lawyer (reg. req.).
“We try to attract entrepreneurs, so we can't be surprised when entrepreneurs want to go out on their own,” says chief executive officer Henry “Hank” Adorno of Ichter's now-former firm. “Cary wants to be the captain of his own ship. I don't blame him.”
