Four umpires for one of the world’s most prestigious tennis events filed suit in federal court in Manhattan today seeking overtime pay for themselves and hundreds of others who have worked at the U.S. Open since 2005.

The plaintiffs contend the U.S. Tennis Association misclassified them as independent contractors when they were in fact employees, depriving them of OT and other benefits they contend they were supposed to get under state and federal law, Bloomberg reports.

The article doesn’t include any comment from the USTA.

The U.S. Open is currently under way in New York.
