A Few Law Schools Announce Tuition Freezes
A handful of law schools are bucking the trend of annual tuition increases.
The National Law Journal reports that these law schools have decided to freeze tuition: the University of Maryland, Ave Maria, the University of New Hampshire and the University of Miami.
The article concludes that tuition freezes are unlikely to catch on. Some law schools have already announced tuition hikes, including Stanford (nearly 6 percent), Brigham Young (3 percent), and Cornell (nearly 4 percent).
