Add another 11 lawyers in Mayer Brown's London office to the list of 33 attorneys here in the U.S. that the firm is nudging to the door.
"In addition to lawyers who have left in the normal course of business, we have advised 11 lawyers and some support and administrative staff in our London office that they are at risk of redundancy," the firm says in a written statement, according to the Lawyer.
Mayer Brown would not say whether any of the 11 lawyers being laid off are partners, the legal publication notes.
Economic conditions prompted the lawyer layoffs.

“At risk of redundancy.” You can say that again. These chaps surely do have that C3PO verbal polish. At the risk of repeating myself, God bless England.
