Unmarried couples who live together in Florida won’t be breaking the law any longer.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott on Wednesday signed a bill into law that repeals the state ban on cohabitation by unmarried couples, report the Orlando Sentinel, the Miami Herald and the Palm Beach Post. With Scott’s action, only two states—Michigan and Mississippi—still ban cohabitation.

The law had carried a punishment of up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine for couples who “lewdly and lasciviously associate and cohabit together.”

Five Republicans in the House have voted against repeal.
