Ambrogi Leaves Legal Blog Watch, His ‘Greatest Gig’ as a Writer
A second lawyer-blogger has left Legal Blog Watch.
Robert Ambrogi wrote in a farewell post at Legal Blog Watch that his four years at the blog were “the greatest gig I ever had as a writer.” But as the blogosphere expanded, the pressure of keeping up with coverage of other legal blogs was taking up too much of his time, Ambrogi wrote.
“Even though I was being paid to blog, it was only intended to be part-time, and I wasn’t about to abandon my day job or the clients who see fit to hire me,” he said. “Something had to give.” He still will be blogging, however, at LawSites and Media Law.
Another blogger for Legal Blog Watch, Carolyn Elefant, left in September. She still writes at MyShingle.com.
