A California law firm that represented Michael Jackson in a number of civil lawsuits has also been busy pursuing the famous pop singer for payment.
Yesterday, in the latest chapter of a protracted court battle over legal fees, a state appeals court sided with Ayscough & Marar concerning the $440,000 in attorney fees, costs and interest that the Torrance law firm had sought from the pop singer and two of his companies, according to the Metropolitan News-Enterprise and the Daily Breeze.
Jackson's case was not helped by the fact that he refused to cooperate with discovery in the legal-bill battle, the News-Enterprise reports.
