An Ohio man was arrested and charged with stabbing to death a one-time Kankakee prosecutor and his roommate, then setting a fire to cover up the deaths.

Dejuan Pratt of Columbus, Ohio, was arrested Monday at O’Hare International Airport on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and unlawful possession of a credit card and aggravated identity theft relating to the Aug. 28 killings of Gary Brown, 64, and Chun Xiao Lee, 48, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Stabbed multiple times, Brown and Lee were found side-by-side, wrapped in blankets in their shared apartment.

Citing police information, the Tribune notes that Pratt had also been a roommate of the two victims.

Brown had worked in private practice, as a prosecutor and as a city attorney in Kankakee. During college, he pitched for the Montreal Expos in the minor leagues. He left law practice about six years ago, however, to teach computer skills at an employment center, the Tribune reports.
