Another would-be class action has been filed over the massive data dump of confidential client information from the Ashley Madison dating site, this time in the United States.

Seeking unspecified statutory and punitive damages, the Los Angeles federal court suit alleges negligence and invasion of privacy, according to the Financial Times (sub. req.) and Reuters.

Meanwhile, Canadian parent company Avid Life Media is offering a reward of 500,000 Canadian dollars, for information leading to the hackers responsible for the data breach. That amounts to a little over $375,000 in American currency, at the current exchange rate.
