A Georgia attorney reportedly left her children, ages 2 and 3, in a car unattended while she made a court appearance.

According to CBS46, Kimberly Bandoh was arrested Thursday after police say she left her children unattended in a vehicle, which is a misdemeanor charge. Bandoh is a former Clayton County, Georgia, magistrate.

Someone noticed the children at the Riverdale Municipal Court parking lot, the station reports, and alerted an officer. Bandoh admitted that they were her children after the officer made a courthouse announcement, asking who the children belonged to.

The children were in a locked car for approximately 30 minutes, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, while Bandoh had a 15-minute appearance. They were unharmed and released to their grandmother, according to the article.
