A Connecticut lawyer is said to be embarrassed and upset after a bag of marijuana fell out of his back pocket while he was in a New London courtroom.

Police say they issued a citation to lawyer Vincent Fazzone, 46, after the bag containing about two ounces of marijuana fell to the floor, the Hartford Courant reports.

Paralegal Holly McGregor, who works in Fazzone’s office, told the Courant that a client who met with Fazzone before court reported that her son was using marijuana. The client gave the marijuana to Fazzone, who promised to hold it until he could speak with the youth later in the day. The plan, McGregor said, was to tell the boy, “Look what your mom found in your room.”

When he went to court, Fazzone forgot about the bag of marijuana, which he does not use, McGregor said.
