Telling a former client who sued his ex-lawyer for discrimination and sent him invective-filled letters that he should heed famous words in Julius Caesar about the apportionment of blame, a New York judge has given the lawyer some relief, reports the New York Post.

Alexander Breytman cannot sue attorney Donald Schechter or his law firm again without permission of the county court’s administrative judge, ruled Supreme Court Justice Arthur Schack.

In a written opinion today, Schack told Breytman that he should ponder the words of Cassius to Brutus in William Shakespeare’s famous play: “The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves.”
