A man accused of walking barefoot onto the grounds of an Oklahoma courthouse last year and firing a handgun into the air pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity on Monday to various charges he faces as a result of the March 2012 incident, according to Fox 23 News.

Andrew Dennehy, now 24, was wounded when he was reportedly shot by officers at the Tulsa County Courthouse. A librarian working in a nearby building took photos of the incident, which were published by Tulsa World.

A judge also said he witnessed the incident.
