For conference veterans, the vendor floor area is where to go for hands-on demos and tutorials about tools that promise to improve your business.

Or, it’s a place to load up on swag for the kids, yourself and/or office staff.

Amid pitches for software and technology that will increase efficiency and keep data secure, there are freebies.

The most successful freebies draw in convention-goers long enough for vendors to wind up and deliver their best pitches. This year, we explored the ABA Techshow Expo to see if we could find the most standout swag.

We skipped much of the standard pen and candy offerings (and just about everyone had drawings for iPads and tablets) and homed in on the most quirky, creative, useful and clever freebies at the show.
