'Better Call Saul' is new 'Breaking Bad' spinoff; website touts two-for-one shoplifting defense

Breaking Bad is ending, but one of its characters will live on in a new series.
The new show, Better Call Saul, features Bob Odenkirk as lawyer Saul Goodman, who represented teacher-turned-meth dealer Walter White, the New York Times and Variety report.
The show is dubbed a prequel rather than a sequel, since it will cover the years before Saul became White’s lawyer. AMC and Sony Pictures TV announced the spin-off deal Wednesday.

A Better Call Saul website announces in all-caps: “Welcome, lawbreakers!” It also touts a two-for-one misdemeanor shoplifting defense. “From parking tickets to mass murder, from slip-and-fall to bond fraud, Saul Goodman and Associates is your one-stop shop for all your legal needs,” Saul says on the website.
Lawyerist praised Goodman’s faux website back in April.
