Bingham McCutchen has merged with a second Japanese law firm as part of an expansion of its Tokyo office.
Bingham will merge with New Tokyo International Law Office, a 22-lawyer firm, the Recorder reports. New Tokyo focuses on insolvency, corporate finance and litigation, a press release says.
Bingham combined with Sakai & Mimura in January. The latest merger gives the U.S. firm more than 50 Japanese lawyers in Tokyo.
