Blogger Says Davis Polk Is Full of Hotties

Lawyer photos on Davis Polk & Wardwell’s redesigned website showcase a little-discussed attribute of the firm—its hottie lawyers.
Blogger David Lat asserts in a post on Above the Law that Davis Polk has long been known for its good-looking lawyers. “Now that photos of DPW lawyers are back on the firm website, the hotness of their attorneys can be verified,” Lat says.
Lat reviews the photos of some of the firm’s male lawyers and concludes they are “quite attractive (especially by lawyer standards). They are exceptionally well-groomed, evidencing intimate familiarity with hair product and eyebrow management.”
The firm did not respond to Lat’s request for comment. Lat has something of a fascination with “hotties”; his previous blog, Above the Law, featured a contest called Superhotties of the Federal Judiciary.

The story reminds me of a judge of decades ago in traffic/criminal court.
The judge usurped the concurrent roles of judge, prosecuting attorney, and defense counsel when defendant was pro se.
The PA worked on civil cases because the judge asked ALL questions from ALL witnesses.
There was nothing else for the PA to do.
Several pro se defendants were answering to speeding ticket charges )new town radar). I was an observer - not a witness nor defendant.
Most of the folks were receiving routine sentences of fine +cost.
There was this one female defendant dressed in a testosterone red professional business type outfit.
It is not unfair to label her as “hot.”
She received a suspended sanction for her transgression. :-)

Of a random review of seven profiles on DPW, three did not have photos, two were attractive, the other two were average in appearance.
