Stanford Law School is at the top of a blogger’s list of best law schools that is developed from rankings by the Princeton Review.

The Princeton Review rated law schools by 11 different categories, but did not combine them for an overall top law school list. The Princeton Review rankings were based on surveys of 18,000 law students and school-reported data.

TaxProf Blog combined the data in five categories to develop a list of 50 top law schools. The categories were academic experience, admissions selectivity, career preparation, and professors who are interesting and accessible. The top 10 on the list:

1) Stanford
2) Virginia
3) Chicago
4) Northwestern and Pennsylvania
6) Michigan
7) Boston University
8) Vanderbilt
9) Texas
10) Georgetown

Harvard is No. 21 on the list while Yale is No. 36.
