Responding to a lawsuit that seeks to unmask anonymous bloggers who have been criticizing the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, a lawyer for Rockstar05 says the school’s suit is an “abuse of the legal system” that disregards his client’s rights, reports the Detroit Free Press.

Cooley hasn’t pointed to any alleged mistakes in the post, but seems to be “simply ‘upset’ about its students speaking critically of its rating criteria and admission policies,” says attorney John Hermann in a motion filed in the Ingham County suit. He also compared the law school to the emperor in the classic fairy tale who discovers he’s wearing no clothes when a child points this out.
