Boies Schiller Pays Big-Bucks Bonuses to Top Associates

Boies Schiller & Flexner is paying bonuses of up to $250,000 to its top senior associates.

Bonuses range from $50,000 to $250,000 for senior associates, and from $25,000 to $150,000 for first- and second-year associates, the Wall Street Journal (sub. req.) reports. The amount varies based on factors that include billable hours.

The amount dwarfs bonuses being paid by a few New York law firms that are following the lead of Cravath Swaine & Moore. They are paying amounts ranging from 10,000 to $60,000.

Last year Boies Schiller paid a top bonus of $200,000.
