An unidentified Texas boy, age 12, has been charged with capital murder in the death of a baby.
Although he is too young to be tried as an adult, he could get up to 40 years if he is convicted as a juvenile, reports the Houston Chronicle in a brief breaking news story. The 11-month-old infant reportedly died March 12 of blunt force trauma to the head.
The case is being handled by the Harris County District Attorney's office.
