A 5-year-old boy is reportedly in custody and being evaluated in Virginia, accused of stabbing three people over the holiday weekend with what Greene County Sheriff Steve Smith called an “edged weapon.”

A neighbor said a dispute over a juice box may have sparked the altercation. Two other juveniles and an adult were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, reports WTVR. Its article relies on information from WCAV, a CBS affiliate in Charlottesville.

“I’ve heard of juveniles throwing temper tantrums, but I’ve never heard of anything like this before,” Smith told WCAV.

Those involved in the dispute are not identified in the article.
