A rapidly expanding Houston-based energy law firm announced today that is has opened an office in Denver.
It is the third new office for Burleson in the past two years, the not-quite-100-attorney firm said in a press release.
It will be headed by Jack R. Luellen, who formerly practiced at Kutak Rock and Beatty & Wozniak.
“We believe the Niobrara and Bakken formations have important roles to play in the U.S. energy future,” said the firm’s managing partner, Rick Burleson, in the release, “and we have the skills, knowledge, and resources to support companies that want to maximize the vast potential of the Rockies. Denver is the logical next step in our national growth strategy, and I’m pleased to have an accomplished and highly qualified attorney like Jack Luellen lead our efforts in this region.”
